Another Italian restaurant but quite a quirky and special one since it's also an art galery. No pizza's at Quel Que Quieres but authentic food with only original and fresh Italian ingredients. Here you can eat Italian dishes that you never ate anywhere else. The entire atmosphere just breaths creativity. You also get a small gift when you leave from the owner who is an artist as well. Nice to know, only a few minutes away from the apartment.

CARNICERO LOCO

Charcoal grilled meats & a wide variety of dishes for all. Enjoy drinks & tapas on the terrace or indulge in hearty dishes & good wine. The quality of the meat is excellent. They also serve some tasty cocktails.

There are many Italian restaurants in Altea but there's only one Sicilian and it's truly different. At Bottega dei sapori they serve authentic Sicilian food all made fresh. If you don't know what to choose the waiter will advise you with pleasure. This restaurants feels like you're part of a big Italian family. The owners are really friendly and their cannoli and tiramisu are a great closure of a fantastic meal.

For the best coffee in Altea come to this lovely bakery right down the stairs of our apartment building. Here you can find real Spanish life. It's always busy but despite that, these great guys are always in a good mood and in for a chat. Everything is made fresh and they also have whole wheat bread. Our everyday go to place to have breakfast.
